Loni Kalbhor is at Haveli, Pune, Maharashtra 412201, on the eastern side of the city and commonly reached from Hadapsar, Magarpatta and Kharadi. The view is open countryside rather than coastline — flat, uncluttered ground with the Sahyadri landscape beyond it.
For first-timers that flat, open terrain is genuinely an advantage: the launch run is straightforward and the landing area is large. It is also the practical choice for anyone living in or near Pune, because it turns a flight from a holiday activity into a Saturday morning. It is the site that handles group bookings and corporate outings most easily, for the same reason.
